Original Abstract

In this work was verifyed if the MTT absorbance is proportional to cell numbers. In our experiments, we have found out that this conclusion is valid only in special cases and starting cell density is very important parameter.The result brings precise information about correlation of the “MTT assay” with “cell enumeration assay”. The results are important for design and interpretation of future complex toxicological in-vitro tests and cell monitoring.
