Original Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe a unique loading method - Vacuum loading, on slab shape construction. The method was originally developed for loading glass or steel plates. This is the first application of method for loading on a pre-stressed concerete slab. Method was proven itself as irreplaceable for the simulation of uniform load over whole slab with linear increase of load. The paper presents the results of the experiment and a comparison with a numerical model from ANSYS program.
