Original Abstract

The strengthening of masonry vaults was realized by special helix shaped rebars. Some experimental results of anchorage blocks and vaults loaded in 1/2 of span stressed by interaction of normal force and bending moment are presented. It was demonstrated that the masonry with the retrofit reinforcement satisfies the load bearing function even after cracking of masonry has occurred.
