The presented work shows the comparison of multivariate classifications performances coupled to raw LIBS echellograms (processed using neural networks) and typical LIBS spectra (processed using simple linear algorithms and also neural networks) of different certified reference materials. Utilization of raw echellograms coupled to neural networks yields increased classification accuracy.
