Original Abstract

This paper describes the comparison tests of physical-mechanical properties of mortar on bodies made in forms and on bodies sampled directly from the joints of brick masonry. The goal of the tests was to verify the possibilities of the testing of mortar with low compression strength approximately from 0,4 to 2,5 MPa, which appears commonly in historacal masonry constructions. For non-destructive testing of mortar, the ultrasonic pulse method was used and by common standardized procedures the following properties of mortar were determined: volume mass, compression strength, tensile strength in bending and static modulus of elasticity.

Czech abstract

Práce popisuje srovnávací zkoušky malty na tělesech vyrobených ve formách a na vzorcích odebraných ze spár zdiva. Pro nedestruktivní zkoušení malty ve spárách byla použita ultrazvuková metoda. Výsledkem práce bylo ověření možností zkoušení malty s pevností od 0,4 MPa do 2,2 MPa, nacházející se ve zdivu historických staveb. Byly zkoušeny vlastnosti: objemová hmotnost, pevnost v tahu za ohybu, pevnost v tlaku, modul pružnosti.
