Original Abstract
This textbook is intended for the course Communication Technology which is focused on the main communication methods and especially on the description of basic principles of current communication systems, data transmission methods and network architectures. This course provides knowledge about all seven layers of ISO/OSI reference network model. The considerable attention is paid to the differences between ISO/OSI reference model and practical implemented TCP/IP network model and a number of related protocols and applications.
