In this work, two representatives of alkaloids have been subjected to a diaphragm discharge to evaluate the possibility of their degradation. Up to 92 % of degradation was reached for caffeine and 98 % for quinine in anode part. Detected hydrogen peroxide dropped by half in alkaloid solutions, as a part of it goes into the degradation process.
