Original Abstract

Magnesium alloys are nowadays used in industry for combination of low specific gravity and good mechanical properties. Main disadvantage of these alloys is their low corrosion resistance, which prevents them from wider use. Microstructure of magnesium alloys undergoes significant changes after heat treatment like annealing or curing, which leads to different alloing elements dissolution. These changes have great effect on conversion coating growth, which was the main aim of this study.
