This paper presents the use of Rapid-controlprototyping and Rapid-code-generation methods in the Hardware-Inthe-Loop part of the development cycle of the turbo-prop and turboshaft engine control units. We describe the development rocess of the HIL Simulator for the turbo-prop and turbo-jet ECUs implemented into single 32-bit microcontroller with a toolchain based on MATLAB and Kerhuel toolbox
