Original Abstract

Currently the companies are forced to adapt more and more trends that required the society. The demands of customers grows and with it to grow requirements not only on the product itself, but on all activities, which are needed for the manufacture of this type of product. The environmental protection is one of the trends that are forcing the small and medium enterprises, not only in the Czech Republic, to radical changes in their activities, structure and organization of work. The companies, which want to succeed not only in domestic markets but also to those abroad, must declare their quality of enterprise management with the application of the generally accepted management practices, the introduction of management and ownership of relevant certificates and testimonials. With the environmental protection as such is associated considerable spending. This concerns not only the activities of the firm develops to ensure that organic production, but also those activities that must make certain to remove the effects of which were caused by its action. The environmental and economic performance of the company are together very closely related.
