Original Abstract

The ANSYS system is declared to be an open system and offers a programmer interface for the development of user macros, menus and procedures to write user commands. With the help of program additions it is possible to incorporate one's own finite elements and it is also possible to specify one's own description of non-linear material behaviour. The article describes the procedure of new finite elements and new material models implementation into the ANSYS system.
