Original Abstract

This article deals with three phase induction motor supplied from single phase grid. The single phase run of three phase motor is analyzed due to finite elements method simulations. Employed software is Ansoft Maxwell. Analyses of single phase run are performed for several values of connected capacitors. Speed, windings current and air gap flux density harmonics of three phase connection and single phase connections are presented here.
