Original Abstract

The paper relates to research project of the company Bochemie Inc. and Institute of Elektrotechnology, Technical University of Brno focused on utilization of alpha nickel hydroxide in alkaline batteries and verifyning of ways how to make it stabile in a strong alkaline elektrolyte. Reffered-to work was aimed at clarifying of the reasons for its transformation tendency with the aim of finding a proper inhibition method. Based on our former experience with an individual-elements doping, simultaneous incorporation of selected elements into brucite type lattice of nickel hydroxide appears to be suitable solution for fulfilment of the purpose.
