Original Abstract

The paper describes identification and diagnostic methods of micro cracks in vibration piezoelectric sensor. The main aim of work is to choose suitable measuring method and checking influence of micro cracks on measuring data from piezoelectric sensor (e.g. knock sensor). Methods used in work: measuring of impedance characteristics and measuring using frequency response characteristics. The unique reversible properties of piezoelements (direct and reverse piezoeffects) make it possible to use them as secondary information converters in measuring devices. Main motivation is find out original method(s) which will be useable for self-diagnostics. Results of paper describe the use of an impedance-based technique and the frequency response analysis technique for identification and influence of micro cracks in piezoelectric sensor. A series of experiments were conducted on prototype knock sensor, where was changed piezoelectric elements with different number of cracks. There was a significant correlation found. The purpose of this experimentation was to find out the methods for self-diagnosis of piezoelectric sensor and then for online monitoring of sensors placed at multiple locations.

Článek popisuje identifikační a diagnostické metody mikrotrhlin v piezoelektrických senzorech. Hlavním cílem práce je popis vhodných metod pro zjištění a vliv mikrotrhlin v senzoru a ověření měřených dat z piezoelektrického snímače (např. snímač klepání). Ověřované metody: měření impedance a měření pomocí frekvenčních charakteristik Jedinečné reverzibilní vlastnosti piezoelektrických materiálů (přímý / nepřímý piezoelektrický jev) je možné využít jako duální informační zdroje v měřicích zařízeních. Hlavním smyslem je najít způsob(y), které bude možné s výhodou využít pro vlastní diagnostiku piezoelektrických senzorů. Cílem bylo zjistit metody pro vlastní diagnostiku piezoelektrického senzoru a jsou-li použitelné pro on-line monitoring ze snímačů umístěných na více místech.
