Original Abstract

The paper deals with a flickermeter based on Voltage Peak Detection (VPD) method proposed and partly verified by authors in resent work and its implementation by means of virtual instrumentation in LabView. The new VPD flick-ermeter design starts from the standard IEC flickermeter whereas the applied signal processing makes the VPD flick-ermeter sensitive to high-frequency interharmonics with view to related flickering of compact fluorescent lamps due to such supply voltage disturbance. At first the instrument implementation in LabView is described then its basic char-acteristics and results of preliminary compliance test are shown and expected performance is discussed finally.
