Original Abstract

Spallation neutrons produced in the collision of 2.33 GeV deuteron beam with a large lead target are moderated by a thick graohite block surrounding the target. Reaction rates at U and Th samples are determined using gamma spectrometry. Results are compared with theoretial predictions based on MCNPX code and LA150 library.
