Original Abstract

Diversity management and leadership are one of biggest challenges in the common global business world. Following article deals with the concept of diversity in the organisation and its relation to the creative economics and competitiveness of the company. Many questions like: How to lead and manage effectively a diverse team? Are varied and diversified teams a threat or advantage of multicultural organisations? What are the risks of such teams and what their benefits? are asked by researchers as well as by employers and businessmen. Present article offers answers to some of those questions especially, with respect to the age management, cultural and ethnical leadership and gender management. Finally, the Florida (2004) concept regarding the economic growth, level of creative talent, tolerance and advancement in technologies is discussed.
