Fractal aspects of fracture of concrete

The fractal dimension in form of Hausdorff-Besicovitch definition of digital image of concrete fracture surface is used in this paper. It is focused on experimental results of three-point bend specimens with central edge notch. Mechanical/fracture properties are presented together with fractal dimensions of corresponded fractured surfaces. Some differences of fractal dimension along fractured surface of concrete specimens curing in different conditions are also shown.
