Original Abstract

The project is aimed at a design and verification of algorithms for transforms of equine ECG signals recorded by means of the standard tetrahedron lead system to three orthogonal signals that describe spatial characteristics of an electromagnetic field around myocardium in horses. The algorithm design is based mainly on Gram-Schmidt orthogonalization process, and on the Karhunen-Loeve orthogonal transform. The algorithms will be integrated into a software for processing database of equine ECG signals.
