Original Abstract

The lime binder is required for the renewal of plasters used on historical buildings. Lime plasters corrode more easily than plasters with hydraulic or pozzolanic reactive admixtures. This paper describes composition and properties of lime plaster with pozzolanic admixture that increases its durability. Mechanical properties are characterised through fracture properties that may find out content of microcracks and estimate their propagation. The results are compared to the properties of lime plaster.
