Diketopyrrolopyrroles analogues (DPPs) are widely used as pigmented plastics especially for red tone automotive topcoats but they can be used also as components of inks, colorants, non- impact printing material, colour filters, cosmetics, polymeric ink particles, toners, dye lasers and electroluminescent devices or as fluorescent markers and fluorescent tracers.
