Original Abstract

The solidification and cooling of corundo-baddeleyid ceramic material EUCOR in a non-metalic mold. An numerical model of the 3D temperature field of the entire system- comprising the casting, the mold and the surroudings. The results are complemented with an approximated measurement of the chemical heterogenity of EUCOR.
