Original Abstract

This paper discusses the simulation of the tmperature field od a 1530x250 mm steel slab produced on a concasting machine. The original numerical model of 3D temperature field has been applied. This model is combined with numerical model of chemical heterogenity. This enables the prediction of cracs an fissures in critical points of the concasting.
