Original Abstract

An original 3D numerical model of the temperature field for consating machine is able to simulate temperature field of a concasting machine either as a whole, or any of its parts. The experimental research and data acquisition have to take place simultanously with the numerical computation. The second original numerical model of dendritic segregation of elements is also used. Verification of technological impacts of optimization resulting from both models is conducted on a real industrial CCM.
