Příspěvek se zabývá aplikacemi evolučních metod regrese a predikce empirických dat. Tyto metody je vhodné aplikovat na úlohy, které je obtížné řešit pomocí klasických deterministických statistických metod. Mezi tyto úlohy patří také nelineární regrese a predikce. V příspěvku je popsán algoritmus gramatické evoluce a diferenciální evoluce a dále výpočetní metoda postavená na těchto algoritmech. Jsou popsány výsledky aplikace dvoufázové gramatické evoluce na konkrétní regresní úlohu.

The article is focused on applications of evolutionary algorithms used for regression and prediction on empiric data. These methods can be successfully used to solve problems which are difficult or impossible to solve using deterministic statistical methods. Among such problems are nonlinear regression and prediction. The article describes two algorithms -- grammatical evolution and differential evolution and a method based on these two algorithms suitable for solving nonlinear regression problems. Finally the application of this method on real-world data is discussed.
