Original Abstract

The musical tonal noise is a type of sound artifact which occurs in the processed signal by the some noise reduction system, spectral subtraction for example. In the article, the origin of musical noise is presented then the method for identification and suppression of musical noise is proposed and in the last section, the proposed method is tested.

Hudební tónový šumu je jeden z nejčastějších hudebních artefaktů které vznikají v některých metodách potlačení šumu, například v metodách spektrálního odečítání. V článku je navrhnuta metoda na identifikaci a potlačení tohoto hudebního tónového šumu.

English abstract

The musical tonal noise is a type of sound artifact which occurs in the processed signal by the some noise reduction system, spectral subtraction for example. In the article, the origin of musical noise is presented then the method for identification and suppression of musical noise is proposed and in the last section, the proposed method is tested.
