Original Abstract

Polymer barrier property against the highly toxic agents and industrial harmful substance is the phenomenon, which adjudicate about the quality of every protection means. By selection of the suitable polymer materials used for the protection means is needed to know not only their physical and chemical properties, but primarily their resistance against the permeation of toxic agents under short time and/or long time contamination in the gaseous and liquid phases. For comparison of the barrier materials from resistance against harmful substances the suitable methods for their evaluation is needed. The developed procedure enables to measure permeation of toxic agents through a given barrier materials. The gas chromatography was chosen as the main detection procedure and was supplied by IMS method.
