Original Abstract

The non-linearity of electrical filters passive components, mainly capacitors, is analysed from the point of view of undesirable higher harmonic frequency and inter-modulation signals generation. Experimental results of non-linearity (third harmonic voltage) measurements are presented for various technologies capacitors and coils and optimum design of electrical filters suggested.
