Original Abstract

The study presents the measurement results of sudden lane-changing manoeuvers. The study was aimed at the acquisition of most comprehensive information about the vehicle movement, based on the signals measured. Stress was laid in particular on the reconstruction of the car body position in the space, the sideslip angles and the acceleration of centre of gravity of the car in longitudinal and lateral directions. The study presents calculations based on the processing of output signals from optical sensors manufactured by the company CORRSYS-DATRON Sensorsysteme GmbH. Tranducers of acceleration and angle velocity are used for the verification of calculation results. In total 13 manoeuvres on the Skoda Octavia Ambiente 1.9 TDi passenger car were analyed in detail. The re-construction results were compared with those obtained by methods used for the calculation of vehicle manoeuvre, in a way to check for the possibility of utilization of such manoeuvres in practical calculations in the practical work of a forensic expert.
