Original Abstract

Penetration of broadband digital technologies into the last mile of access networks (metallic) brought new challenges for securing of undisturbed operation. In contrary to traditional transmission technologies where all analogue as well as digital transmission systems are extremely simple due to the unique amplifying/repeating sections with unique technology; uncomparably more complicated architecture of cable tree with varieties of utilised bands. Majority of european incumbent operators are leaving spectrum management In practice to regulatory bodies; not in CZ, where incumbent operator CZECH TELECOM tries to introduce sophisticated spectrum administration to improve last mile efficient utilisation.
