Original Abstract

The paper deals with description of some modifications of basic model of the cardiovascular system used for investigation of a hemodynamic response to surgical creation of a arteriovenous fistula necessary to establish a vascular access in hemodialysis patient. The simulation experiments with the described models demonstrate a great importance of a mass of blood involved in the models both from a viewpoint of a rest blood pressure waveforms and responses to the anastomosis.
