Original Abstract

The Computers in Experiment Course is primarily devoted to hardware problems of microcomputer application in experiment and to special software products for control of the devices and virtual instrumentation. In lectures and laboratory measurements the students get acquainted with ports of the microcomputer, interfacing and measurement boards, some special electronic circuits (Multiplexer, A/D and D/A converter, Timer and Counter). But main stress is put on practical application of these new trends in design and performing of the experiment. The course is obligatory enrolled in the last year of the master’s studies in stream of Physical Engineering and as the optional course for doctorand`s study.
