Original Abstract
Nowadays, the security of multimedia applications is very important.The paper focuses on the security features of SIP and it presents the most relevant SIP-related security vulnerabilities and threats. The article discusses the SIP security mechanisms of the key establishment, such as SDES, MIKEY, DTLS-SRTP, ZRTP. Also newly proposed schemes of authentication and the key establishment in SIP are analyzed and compared.
