Original Abstract
The paper presents new realization of grounded positive inductance simulator (PIS). It uses two current follower transconductance amplifiers (CFTAs) as active elements and a single grounded capacitor. The simulated inductance value can be controlled electronically by adjusting the bias current of CFTAs. The circuit performances are depicted with SPICE simulations and they show good agreement to theoretical expectation. The usability of the proposed circuit has been verified by realizing a fourth-order high-pass filter with a Butterworth approximation.
