Original Abstract

This paper describes image processing used to acquire data important for AFM tip fabrication. The main goal is to measure distances between parts during all fabrication steps. Camera distortion correction and calibration along with proposed image processing transform the camera to the accurate distance sensor. Acquired data are then used to control the fabrication process. The Intel OpenCV library is used for image processing.
