The paper describes a method for analytical evaluation of latency of layer 3 handover schemes. The method is universal for current as well as future handover schemes. It serves mainly for comparisson of handover schemes and helps to choose the right scheme for implementation in a given network. It also helps to develop new handover schemes.

Czech abstract

Článek se popisuje metodu pro analytické ohodnocení latence různých schémat L3 handoveru. Tato metoda je univerzální a může být využita jak pro stávající tak pro budoucí schémata L3 handoverů. Metoda slouží především pro porovnání jednotlivých schémat mezi sebou a napomáhá výběru vhodného schématu pro implementaci v dané síti. Metoda slouží taktéž k usnadnění vývoje nových schémat handoveru.

English abstract
