English abstract

The rehabilitation planning of water distribution networks is the typical problem for all owners and operators of water supply infrastructure. Nowadays, the water infrastructure owners in Czech republic are supposed to made financial plans of renewal of their water mains. The bad technical condition on the one hand and the lawful orders on the other hand challenge to use the complex approach in rehabilitation planning of water mains. The using of conceptual model based on detailed analysis is preferable, that means the compilation strategy for long-, middle- and short-term, so-called proactive approach. The rehabilitation planning should be made on basis of the technical and economical indicators as much as consumers demands and at last but not least on environmental needs.
