Original Abstract

Light weight concrete is known for its brittle fracture behavior. To improve ductility of concrete, dispersed fiber reinforcement is used. The paper is concerned with the effect of synthetic and steel fibres on the properties of Lightweight Self Compacting Concrete (LWSCC) especially with the effect of fibres on LWSCC rheological properties, on the shrinkage in the initial stadium and on physico-mechanical properties of hardened LWSCC.
