Original Abstract

From the historical point of view, the power in the society was held by people who had owned the main mean of production. From this mean of production was usually derived the name of society, respectively of the period of society then. In the course of its progress the society came to the present stage when standing on the edge of the knowledge-based society. So, knowledge becomes the foreground mean of production. Because of human capacities are very limited it seems natural that inanimate holders of knowledge are taken up. In this case, the knowledge-based models as basis of knowledge-based systems are expected to be in a progress in all spheres of business, not taking the retail business out.
