Original Abstract

The body of the paper is based on the pilot idea that effectiveness of business processes is one of the grounds of competitive advantage, focused on retail business. Managing processes of retail business poses a wide and complicated set of interactions where the knowledge represents the substantial element. Present thicken environment of knowledge brings a necessity of knowledge owners growing capacities. Because of human capacities are very limited it seems natural that inanimate holders of knowledge are taken up. In this case, the knowledge-based models as basis of knowledge-based systems are expected to be in a progress in all spheres of business, not taking the retail business out.
