Original Abstract

This paper deals with the drive system for the double ventricle blood pump. The general rotating electrical machine theory is applied to the motor design and general sizing equations are used for the turbine drive motor design. Based on these analyses, the design can be achieved. For the rotor of the electric motor are used rare earth permanent magnet and achieved good torque quality, the surface mounted three phase winding is used.
