This paper discusses the education program for fiber Bragg gratings modeling. The goal of this work is acquaint students with fiber Bragg gratings issue. This program makes possible spectral characteristics simulation of gratings, which are commonly used as band pass filters or chromatic dispersion compensators in telecommunications and in-fiber sensors in modern sensor systems.
