Original Abstract

This article deals with the measuring of the insertion loss of the EMI filters. Alternative measuring setup using the active devices instead of impedance transformers is introduced. This replacement was done for the common mode insertion loss measurement setup. Confrontation of EMI filter performance measured in the setup with active devices and transformers is also mentioned.
