Original Abstract

This paper deals with problems connected with identification in adaptive control. The classic recursive identification algorithms versus new approach based on neural networks are discussed. The identification algorithms are compared in practical example. The simplified neural network for linear model parameters estimation suitable for real process identification is introduced.
