Original Abstract

Text se věnuje základům lineární funkcionální analýzy, zejména nekonečně dimenzionálním prostorům a lineárním funkcionálům a operátorům na nich definovaných. Nejprve je zaveden pojem metriky a jsou probrány základní vlastnosti metrických prostorů. Dále jsou uvedeny základy teorie Banachových a Hilbertových prostorů, vlastnosti lineárních funkcionálů a operátorů na těchto prostorech a pojmy slabé a silné konvergence. V závěrečných částech prezentována Fredholmova teorie v Hilbertově prostoru a její analogie v prostoru Banachově, tzv. Riesz–Fischerova teorie.

English abstract

The text deals with the basics of linear functional analysis, in particular infinite-dimensional spaces and linear functionals and operators defined on them. First, the concept of metrics is introduced and the basic properties of metric spaces are discussed. Then the basics of the theory of Banach and Hilbert spaces, properties of linear functionals and operators on these spaces, and the notions of weak and strong convergence are presented. The final sections present Fredholm theory in Hilbert space and its analogue in Banach space, the so-called Riesz-Fischer theory.
