Original Abstract

The paper summarizes the major contributions to the theory for the acquisition and processing of multiple channels of audio data for further real-time applications. It describes a particular type of Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMS) microphone selected with Time Division Multiplexed (TDM) data format output. It also shows calculations and clock signals generation capabilities on Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) boards. The paper contains options for real-time data capture into the Matlab for further signal operations.
