Original Abstract

The cross-section of 85 Rb (n, 2n) 84m Rb has been measured at neutron energies of 15.72±0.59 MeV and 16.73±0.66 MeV using activation and off-line γ-ray spectrometry technique. The experimental work was carried out at 14UD BARC-TIFR Pelletron facility. Fast neutrons were produced by the 7 Li(p, n) 7 Be reaction. 27 Al(n, α) 24 Na reaction is used to determine the neutron flux. The induced γ-ray activity in the reaction products was measured using high purity Germanium (Ge) detector.
