Original Abstract

Nanostructured materials have noted a massive scientific progress and industry development over the last few decades. These unique materials are distinguished from conventional polycrystalline materials by their extremely fine crystallite sizes. A typical nanocrystal has a diameter of about ten nanometers, the crystals of conventional materials are thousand times larger. Nanostructured (or nanocrystalline) materials can be obtained from metallic, ceramic, semiconducting and diamond materials.
