Original Abstract

Technical diagnostic of machines with gear-type transmissions is relatively frequent however very exacting discipline. Example of this can be a noisiness appreciation of a toothed gear installed in a relatively complicated multi-speed change gearbox. A gearbox resonance structure and a wide scale of the used gear ratios make harder an identification of the measured gear or a finding of noise spectrum revolution dependence. The article describes the method of measuring and evaluation used in a test room of the Institute of Design FME BUT for the appreciation of a toothed gear mesh vibro-acoustic emission in the multi-speed car gearboxes.
