Original Abstract

Numerical approach using the FEM has been used to describe the behaviour of concrete slab exposed to close range explosion of charge of lover mass. 3D numerical model has been created, and in order to conduct an analyses, a software with explicit solver has been used. Two approaches in modelling of this phenomena are compared, the simplified method and SPH method (smooth particle hydrodynamics). Various cases with different mesh size, more precisely numbers of the SPH nodes, have been considered. The results are compared with experimental data.
